ECNL Females Invited to USA Youth National Team Training
Congratulations to Dakota and Morgan from the 2011 girls ecnl for being invited to the USYNT training Wednesday night by the USA Soccer Federation.
“Dakota and Morgan joined Pipeline last year and After a bit of an adjustment period to the ECNL speed of play, the girls have really grown into impact players for us. They both bring such a competitive mindset to training and it shows in their performances every weekend. I’m super proud they earned this opportunity and look forward to their feedback from this event” - ECNL STAFF ANDREW GILLIS
U.S. Soccer Talent ID Centers (IDCs) are free, single-day player identification opportunities for top talents to train and play games under the direction of U.S. Soccer Talent Identification Managers. IDC’s are a critical element to our Talent Identification Plan and are designed to identify and evaluate top talents for Youth National Teams, while accelerating their development in a challenging environment. IDC’s are scheduled throughout the year in key markets across the country.
U.S. Soccer Talent ID Centers are designed to replicate Youth National Team camps. The sessions are closed to parents and spectators. U.S. Soccer’s objective is to create an environment free from any distractions, where players take responsibility for their own development. IDCs are the pathway to the Youth National Teams. Club representatives (Directors, Coaches, Scouts) may attend and observe the session from designated areas away from field and players with prior approval.
Being coached by US soccer is something I will never take for granted. Playing with top talent players made my level of play even higher and drove me to use every ounce of energy I had because I knew every other player would do the same. This high level play was awesome to be a part of, and I know my team can set the same level of play and expect it from me and my team.

It was an honor to work with US soccer coaches. Additionally, being on the field competing with girls of such high quailty, really increased my own confidence. I am now more motivated to lead, and set the same standard for my team that was on display at the ID session.
